Hello early adopters, as of now, www.monster-the-client.org is live and may be used to get some information about the current MONSTER release. In the following weeks, we will certainly add some more content but already for now as a registered user you can post comments, forum entires and of course subscribe yourself to receive our newsletter. And there are certainly more things to come to support developers and users alike.

Regarding Monster
Hello,
I had some basic queries:
1. Is the monster SDK open source ? If so, is it possible for me to browse through the code ?
2. If its not open source, how do i get involved as a user (tester) or developer (to develop custom applications) ?
3. Will the monster release include its source code, or will it be released only as a binary distribution ?
Thanks
Aayush
Hi Aayush, some quick answers
Hi Aayush,
some quick answers to your questions:
ad 1: we will be soon releasing an API documentation for MONSTER but you won't be able to browse the code, as MONSTEr won't be licensed under an open source license (at least not for now).
ad 2: you can get involved by applying the Beta-Tester checkbox in your profile. We will give some users the chance to give us feedback before the official release. As developer you can use the API to start working on your own apps.
ad 3: MONSTER will come as a binary version. In some weeks we will post licensing details and the packages themselves.
Regards,
Peter
